The Sumatran tiger is a rare and beautiful animal found only on the island of Sumatra in Indonesia. It is the smallest of the tiger species, with a strong body and orange fur covered with black stripes. Sumatran tigers live in forests and jungles, where they hunt for prey like deer and wild boar. They are skilled hunters and are known for their strength and agility.

Tigers are often confused with leopards (macan), but there are some differences. Tigers are larger, with more powerful bodies and distinctive vertical stripes on their fur, while leopards have smaller bodies and spots instead of stripes. Tigers also prefer to live alone, whereas leopards can sometimes be found in pairs.

Unfortunately, the Sumatran tiger is an endangered species because of habitat loss and poaching. Conservation efforts are being made to protect them and their natural environment.
