TRIBUNPADANG.COM - Berbeda dengan ajang penghargaan lainnya, 10th Gaon Chart Music Awards tidak mengundang para idol ataupun penyanyi solo untuk tampil.
Ajang penghargaan 10th Gaon Chart Music Awards digelar pada Rabu, (13/1/2021) hari ini nuansanya malahan ada perbedaan yang khas.
Dikutip Tribunnews dari Soompi, Asosiasi Musik Konten Korea mengumumkan tak ada penampilan dikarenakan situasi pandemi Covid-19 yang memburuk.
Karena itu, pihak Gaon sama sekali tak mengundang para penyanyi.

Hanya ada segelintir orang, termasuk staf dan MC, yang hadir saat acara berlangsung.
Sementara itu, para pemenang penghargaan memberikan pidato mereka secara virtual.
"Tidak peduli seberapa ketat pencegahan dilakukan dalam acara penghagraan, kemungkinan bisa mencegah penyebaran (Covid-19) 100 persen sangat kecil."
"Industri K-Pop bisa terancam jika muncul klaster dan penyebaran virus semakin berlanjut," terang perwakilan penyelenggara acara.
